Who are you...??

I am what I am.

You are what you are.

Everybody is what everybody is.

Is it so?

I don't think so..!!

So many times I have heard people say, comment, put this as their status messages all over.. I am what I am. - in effect using this statement so loosely, just copying and pasting others' thoughts because it sounds cool and that it will show some character if it gets associated with them.

It is a way to communicate with the world that they don't give a rat's ass about anybody else's opinion and they will continue to exist the same way they are existing right now.

This is what mostly comes out from the people who are basically small time rebels, and mostly the people who really have no idea who they actually are.

Others' opinion matter a lot to them, but they create a facade that they are unmoved by any such opinions. So its their way to show the world, "Please World, I beg of you, I am living a meager life (though I want to show it magnanimous). Take a note of it too. Please adore me."

The reality is - People are what they are surrounded with - the circumstances, the situations, the kind of belief they have, how they are brought up, by other people that are around them - friends, acquaintances, colleagues, neighbors, family - well, actually the people closest to you; and by even the place where they live.

Ask them this -

Are you totally immune to the status quo?

Will you not lose your control if lose your current comfort that you are in?

Will you be the same person if the closest person to you changes his/ her behavior towards you?

If the answer is Yes to any of these questions, then you might see a point here.

To come out a winner from adverse situations, unholy circumstances, stronger than the people who pull you down, you first have to realize what you really are. One can't make such strong statements until and unless one has faced some hard facts of life and went against it all and came out an achiever. And this goes the other way round too - A person who has tried out on something and has been a success in it, that person has definitely seen some contrary scenarios in the journey. After that only, with a contented heart and a smile on his face, s/he has the right to say something like - I AM WHAT I AM.

What do you think... let me know...

And the Phoenix rises again...

Just analyzing... had this article saved for over an year now... So finally putting it out to the world. Read this thing about Scorpios, being a proud one.. just putting in my own comments based on my understanding and personal experiences.

The Scorpio represents one of the strongest, most intelligent signs of the zodiac. (Well, undoubtedly.) He or she has a deep well of strength that, if tapped into, can produce a powerful ally, or a vindictive enemy. (Try me.) A huge abundance of energy usually makes this person a powerful achiever and go-getter; the Scorpio is not lazy. (And I know my limits, but also know how to push them ahead.) Though their worst fault is jealousy, in all arenas, they also have the power within to turn this around and DO something about it. (Well, I have seen it happening with me - be it learning a dance form, or cooking, or starting a sport, or even learning a language.)

Above all, the Scorpio represents the Phoenix, that ancient symbol of death and resurrection from the ashes of youth, that fire that never dies but merely rises above and continues to change into something else. (I have experienced this in after many situations that I have faced in life. Mostly on personal levels. When I could see that this was the lowest of all moments and nothing can be worse than this, I would find  a way to totally rubbish the situation and come out much stronger and charged up than ever.)

An argument is not merely an argument to a Scorpio, nor is it a chance to butt heads, but rather an experience of expressing and listening so that both participants can "rise above" and come out in a better position than when they began. (This is actually what I do when discussing out things and become a better person, grown from the situations presented to me. Always take it as an opportunity to grow beyond.)

This energy of the Scorpio is also frequently seen in sports, and needs to be properly channeled in order to be given full expression. (Have never actually tried it in sports scenario, but have always applied in life situations. Have worked well always.)

Scorpios have an uncanny ability to get to the root of any problem, and they have a rawness of perception that makes them almost psychic. (I have seen this happening not only for myself but for others' too. Maybe it can look like probing but I can tell something's wrong just by looking at a person. Maybe this is because of the vibes that come across from the person.)

Their deep, incisive analytical mind makes them natural detectives or spies, (I always have imagined myself as Sherlock Holmes reincarnated :D ) and they are frequently workaholics, cramming each work day with hours of productiveness. (this I am not too sure of..!!).

They are excellent, relentless workers and excel in anything involving the Eighth House: trusts and inheritances, mortuaries, psychology and counseling, and the occult. They are masters at using other people's money to build their own fortunes, and can be extravagantly generous to charities or other worthy causes. (I would definitely like to try a hand at this. Occult is something that has always intrigued me to the core.)

The mystery sign of the zodiac, Scorpios are frequently intriguing, with a truly dynamic and majestic way of going about a problem or situation. This sign is also the sign of death, but manifests itself in the struggle between the soul and the personality. The personality is usually the loser, because the Scorpio's stinger many times stings itself to death. This is where the Phoenix comes in--to resurrect the person to new heights, a new beginning, or a new way of thinking. (I feel, this is it what has saved me always to not die emotionally, and psychologically... have always come out as a stronger positive person. Though there are times when I have been down and in ultra-negative zone, but then the whole burning up myself and moving on reliving gives back the strength.)

Thus, change is constant for a Scorpio, who is involved all the time in death, rebirth and renewal. For the Scorpio, there is no in-between--life is many times a matter of life and death, black and white, devil vs. angel, etc. They don't know the meaning of indifference, and tend to be either your friend or your enemy. There is no shade of gray. Once you've gained the trust of a Scorpio, you've won him forever--unless you hurt him in some way. Then he can become mean, vindictive, and will attempt to get even. (Don't try me, I don't even try to think about it. Don't want to go in that zone.)

Scorpios have a very strong reserve, and a lot is hidden below the surface. They command respect from acquaintances due to their strong, quiet exterior, and many times work to earn the respect of close ties. They also usually show a lot of creativity, and a great ability for sarcasm with their deadly tongue, which can get them in trouble. This stinger can also, for some, show as a dark side of cruelty, sadism, and enmity. For others, who are more evolved, the stinger helps them transform their lives for the better. They are truly courageous, not afraid of anything. Their endurance makes them plow ahead, overcoming any obstacle in their path. (Have somehow always known the power and effect of words. So always try to use them carefully and to the point. No point unnecessarily tackling with people who are not even worth my time. So I have learnt the art of ignoring. So learning the shades of grey now..!!)

Though they are considered the "sexiest" sign of the zodiac, Scorpios have gotten a bad rap for being almost sleazy. They simply have strong passions that need regenerating, and a tremendous pride that seems to say, "Don't judge a book by its cover."

Scorpios are a master at hiding their emotions. They have a tremendous strength and power when they have managed to rise above their personality and seek power not for themselves, but to heal and bless others. They reach their goals through service, purity, compassion and humility. They have a need to redeem and transform their natures, and to have a happy marriage. Their innate curiosity makes them probe deeply into all things, seeking the meaning behind the surface. They dig out concealed facts, and are one of the most intuitive signs of the zodiac. A highly evolved Scorpio is psychic, having a rich inner life that is passionate about metaphysics. (Hmmm...)

On the negative side, Scorpios can be extremely critical, like their allies the Virgos. This can lead to a difficulty with co-workers because of strong judgments of them. Scorpios need to have more stability and steadiness with partners. Their great stubbornness makes them sometimes outsiders, tending to be lone wolves rather than equal partners in relationships. (Trying to find a balance here... feel lonely sometimes, as if I am alone facing the whole world head-on).

A Scorpio woman turns heads and grabs attention by her steamy sexuality. She has the power of presence, and a boldness and need for honesty unparalleled in the zodiac. Never, never lie to her, or she'll cut you off. A passionate lover, she can also be jealous or possessive. What she shows on the outside is not necessarily what she's really feeling, unless she's angry. Her rage can explode, with a sarcasm or a piercing look that really stings. Her intuition can be so developed that she borders on the clairvoyant; this can be seen in her eyes. (Someone can confirm that..)

As a mother, she is fiercely devoted and protective, creating a loving and comfortable home for kids.

In religion, the Scorpio tends to form bonds with organized religions, enjoying ritual and the sense of belonging there. They may also lean to unorthodox belief systems, with a passion and sincerity that is never dishonest. Because Scorpios are ruled by Pluto--the god of the underworld--they can sometimes have a connection with the ethereal, other world of spirit, which is often metaphysical. They have an ability to transform energy, or change impure selfish desires into the gold of purity. They are fascinated by the big issues of death and life, and are attracted to a religion that leaves room for exploring these. (I Believe, there is a great source, which always answers back when you talk to the Universe. God, in whichever form, is there and I truly believe finds the best way for me as I have left my path open, my life in his hands. The only thing that I can do is walk on that path and keep consistently and honestly working towards the final destination. Everything else, just follows. But for this one needs to have faith and trust with not an iota of doubt. If you doubt, it stops working. That's what I feel.)

Also had read this by Cheiro, that there are 3 kinds of Scorpios.

1. Eagles - In their higher form, however, there is probably no class whose spiritual nature can, like an eagle, soar to such heights or be so free from earthly ties.
2. Scorpio - this is the average kinds.
3. Lizards - In their lower aspect, no type can be more vicious or harmful, even to wounding themselves and bringing about their own destruction.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There have been few realizations after reading so much about Scorpios for last so many years which hold true and I feel associated to, which I feel are symbolic for my existence too, that I have also mentioned on my blog profile - here and on fb page too.

1. Scorpio, The Water Sign - In life, ups and downs will come no doubt about that. You are the person how you handle those situations. Being a Scorpio, a water sign, somehow has helped me in finding ways between the rocks of life. Moving ahead, finding way through crevices. Sometimes freezing and becoming like ice against unmanageable situations or people. Or sometimes becoming a vapor and mixing with everything around. Sometimes following the current and moving smoothly whereas sometimes like a wave which takes over everything.

2. Scorpio, The Eagle - how an eagle flies high, always sure of its own strength but detached from the world, focused on the end goal even from a long distance and sure of its final achievement.

3. Scorpio, The Phoenix - The Rising from the Ashes. To know that something is wrong in life - is easy. To know why something is wrong in life - is difficult. To tell others to change to be a better person - is pure Gyaan. To be the person who himself tries to change - takes guts. To undergo the process of change and elevate to a new level - takes Will power.

So on to the next level now...

Cheers..

Mentally focused and raring to go..

So, here I am again and telling this to the Universe that I have started a wonderful project of my own and all my energies and focus is on it. The collective energies of the team, the strength and positivity goes all the way out and is best summed up by the results we see on both professional and personal fronts.

Haven't all of us, sometime or the other in life, thought of starting something of our own? I say that any person is made up of two things and two things only.

1. the opportunity
2. the decision you take for that opportunity

Most of us keep on contemplating - what, when, how, etc. Keep on figuring about what to do, to do it alone or in partnership. Too much time wasted in all of this and so the life goes on and on as it is with the dream of starting something of your own starts to fade away.

But when an opportunity is placed in front of you, we become too critical either about the project or the person who is offering the opportunity or even about our own self. And so the decision taking is hampered by the clutter of our own minds and we are unable to proceed because we are not able to see the opportunity being offered in a clear way.

I feel its only a chance that an opportunity comes your way, maybe 20% of the whole 'whole entrepreneurial journey'. But the rest of it rests on the Decision you take.

Life is short, live it to the fullest.

Vo kehte hain na...

"Girte hain ghudsawaar maidan-e-jung mein, vo tifl kya girey jo ghutnon ke bal chale..!!"

So, I am moving ahead like the water, finding ways between the rocks that come in my way..!!Are you..??

Cheers..!!
