There's always a 'Comma'

This time the blog post started with a real effort on the brain cells and a motivation for self to write something. Really couldn't think of a topic to elaborate on or any random story to tell and then as I started typing in the space right in front of the "Title", these three words appeared in that space - 'There's always a'... and after that it was a blank, both in my mind and the space on the post page too...  No words..!! More thinking..!! No thought..!! Total Blankness again..!! and then my fingers moved across the keypad to type something and when I looked in the Title space, there was this word staring at me - 'Comma'..!!

So the title became - There's always a 'Comma'...

Huh...!!??

Ya, that was my first reaction too...!! So now I had something to think about - this unusual combination of words in front of me... as I analyzed, it started making more sense to me and suddenly now it wasn't all that unusual...

Isn't there always a Comma when you are separating ideas or elements in structuring a sentence..!!

Isn't there always a Comma when there is a pause between a normal conversation..!!

Isn't there always a Comma when there is a lull after an over-excited match or a high energy concert..!!

Isn't there always a Comma when you are about to make a move on a much thought over decision..!!

Isn't there always a Comma when you are about to propose to your girlfriend..!!

Isn't there always a Comma when there is a breathing spell between heated arguments in a lovers' spat..!!

Isn't there always a Comma when there is a hush after a close friend isn't talking to you..!!

Isn't there always a Comma when there is a quiet after there is someone you have lost..!!

Isn't there always a Comma when you are trying to make sense of things that have happened circumstantially and to you it makes no sense at all..!!

Isn't there always a Comma when you are sulking over somethings that you never thought someone close will do to you..!!

Isn't there always a Comma when you are waiting for the most important result in your life..!!

Isn't there always a Comma when you are most content..!!

Isn't there always a Comma when you have achieved the goals that you set out for..!!

Isn't there always a Comma when you are with the most important person in your life..!!

Isn't there always a Comma when you are in Love..!!

So, i guess There's always a Comma...!! Ain't it..??

See you all after a Comma... :)

Cheers...!!

Why I am the way I AM Series… Part I – Veneration...

Hey you all...!!!

To explain some about this series, this is an attempt for whatever I have been able to do with myself, don't intend to write it on a serious note... though it is a gratitude, acknowledgment, adulation series for all that I have, the inherent traits that I got, the ones I developed and for the most important person that I got in my life - my Maa who has been like the best friend, best teacher, best motivator, the strength for me... thought might as well do it now than to linger it to the time when I don't have time to do this... Have planned 4 parts in the series till now - don't know if they could be truncated within these four or will extend to the next part... but the 4 planned till now are :

  • Part I - Veneration : Scenarios that I AM - its an assorted scenarios that define Me.
  • Part II - Exaltation : Traits that I AM.
  • Part III - Reverence : Maa - the One who made Me. (Thank God for Her)
  • Part IV - HIS Grace : The Unforeseen - the situations that made Me.
So taking it ahead, with the first part... Enjoy reading...!!

Part I – VenerationScenarios That I AM (assorted)

Take the essence and find Me... :)

Ø  A sight-seeing bus is threading its way through crowded city traffic; its occupants eagerly view the sights.

Ø  What has been a handsome and valuable bottle lies broken and forgotten; a track of living perfume leads from it.

Ø  At a clearing of pioneer days in the forest all the neighbors have gathered to assist in a happy house-raising.

Ø  In an old-fashioned candle lighting service a youth gains for the first time a sense of the great other world.

Ø  A massive rocky shore presents its unchanging face of the centuries to the furies and coaxing calms of the sea.

Ø  A queer craft equipped with special machinery is the base of operations for courageous divers of the deep sea.

Ø  A beautiful gem of a lake set high in the mountains is revealed in the silvery bathing light of a full moon.

Ø  A dentist hard at work; man-made porcelain replaces nature's enamel which consciousness has been unable to hold.

Ø  A fellowship supper is served to a group of men brought together in reunion to live again in forgotten moments.

Ø  There is great excitement on the narrow and treacherous beach; finally a drowning man is saved and brought ashore.

Ø  A brilliant assembly of dignitaries is seen on a highly polished dance floor; it is an important embassy ball.

Ø  In a rattle trap old wooden barn an earnest man works in a maze of apparatus; invention at the point of success.

Ø  Through a seemingly inaccessible mountainous country the telephone linemen carry their thin lines of communication.

Ø  In unconscious occult symbolism a group of laughing, joyous children are playing on five mounds of sand.

Ø  A girl's face is revealed of fine, delicate, aristocratic features; suddenly these break into a glorious smile.

Ø  A woman is great with child; the remarkable thing is that she was impregnated by her own spirit or aspiration.

Ø  A winding quiet road, carpeted by the falling leaves, leads through an old fashioned woods rich in autumn color.

Ø  A wise old parrot has been listening attentively to the conversation and preening himself; now he begins to talk.

Ø  An immensely tall entranceway is closed by heavy and dark velvet portieres; a woman in white draws these aside.

Ø  A soldier runs the risk of court-martial in remaining absent without leave, but a lovely miss clings to him.

Ø  A group of hunters protected by heavy clothing are making their way out into the marsh to shoot wild ducks.

Ø  A little white rabbit rests contentedly in his cage; before the eyes he metamorphoses into an elf in a fairy glade.

Ø  A steady stream of people down a mountain side gives testimony to the power of the man who has there addressed them.

Ø  An x-ray machine is in operation; by means of it a bit of fine diagnosis is made possible, and a life is preserved.

Ø  A group is making camp; as if by magic the teepees are erected and home comfort established.

Ø  Scintillating with the flash of the instruments and the colors of banners and uniforms, a military band is marching.

Ø  A pageant of fairyland is made visible to mortal eyes; the king of the little people is welcomed to his domain.

Ø  The town jester is in his element; it is Halloween and there is now justification for any and all of his pranks.

to be continued to Part II - Exaltation...!! catch u all later... till then...

Cheers...

Traffic Jam and Life...

Any coincidences there if I say that we are all stuck in a traffic jam or we are stuck in a life…!! was watching a scene from a movie when it struck me that our expectations from traffic jams and life are almost the same… there is an inherent desire that we always get smooth road ahead with no bumps, or crazy drivers jumping-in in front, vehicles coming in from wrong directions, people suddenly appearing on turns to cross streets, or someone parking right in the spot when you had a hard time finding that spot in the busiest market or someone honking incessantly on your tail or someone blocking your way to go ahead even when there is available space... some usual scenarios which we really want to avoid or wish they never happen while we are on the road...

So the scene from the movie -

A guy just stops his car in the middle of the road as he sees his fiancee/ to-be-wife (as this is their wedding day) is returning back from the chapel without waiting for him to reach there and it is totally his fault as he told her over the phone just a few moments ago that he can't marry her... but still stops as he remembers the past few years that they had spent together and what it could have been, if it would have been moments... and in the meantime the girl gets down and scowls, berates, and thrashes him... and her girl friends push her and take her away to her home... now this guy stands and wonders in the middle of the road what should he do next... actually he is blank... maybe perplexed by the whole situation which he is now into... though he is not yet analysing how this happened or why it happened or who is responsible for all this but he is just standing unknown of the fact of his location... and just then another kind of impatient-yet-patient-to-let-all-this-drama-to-happen guy sitting in a car behind honks and shouts out loud, "Make a move man...!! Don't just stand there...!!"

All this was quite interesting, not because it was some emotional scene from a romantic mushy movie but because in life also we need such people around who can tell us or even shout at us - "Make a move man...!! Don't just stand there...!!" coz there are times when it takes so much time just to understand what has happened to one, how it happened, why it happened, why to me, why not to someone else, what did I do wrong, what did the other person did wrong, whose fault was it, who is to be blamed, why is God doing this to me, and all those things... someone needs to just push you ahead in life so that you don't get stuck in the situation, so that later in life you realize that how much time has been wasted on the things that could have been worked out better, if there was someone to give that faith to you... Faith to move ahead, strength to take that step... and to keep flowing - just like the water...!!

To water, this time... Cheers...!!

Prison Break - the Series...

Wow !! just finished watching an experience of a superbly written TV Drama Series which encapsulated Crime & Action.. and the credit goes to - Paul Scheuring... after a really long time i found a thriller storyline so enthralling and characters so strongly traced out, packed with all the crime and politics involved, affecting global landscape ultimately... I though nobody can come near the likes of Stephen King and Robert Ludlum...!! Impressive..!!

For those who haven't had the chance to watch the series yet, a one-liner story baseline is - The series revolves around two brothers; one (Lincoln Burrows) has been sentenced to death for a crime he did not commit, and the other (Michael Scofield) devises an elaborate plan to help his brother escape prison.

Best part about the writer is that he has not wavered from the basic storyline and the agenda that the brothers are following and has built upon that only, also not wavering from the traits of the characters till the end... I have read so many novels and seen so many movies/ TV series where the creator forgets what he started off with and what he landed on when he finishes his creation.. and the most ugly and painful part is where the creator forgets the traits of the character and starts modifying as and when needed. I think that the writer surely lacks talent when he is doing this to his own creation.

But this didn't happen in the Prison Break even for a moment. The writer had Serial Killers, Cons, Gangsters, Drug Abusers, Rapists, Thugs, Murderers on his hand to write for and he never missed the intricacies of those. Quite a relief..!!

(Skip this part about the Season Details if you have seen the series... and go to The Characters directly...)

Season 1 - The Original Break: The first season follows the rescue of Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell), who is accused of murdering the brother of the Vice President of the United States. Lincoln is sentenced to death and is incarcerated in Fox River State Penitentiary where he awaits his execution. Lincoln's brother, brilliant structural engineer Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller), is convinced of Lincoln's innocence and formulates an escape plan. In order to gain access to Fox River, Michael commits armed robbery. Michael befriends the prison doctor Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies) when he pretends to suffer from Type 1 diabetes, in order to gain daily access to the prison's infirmary. However, they are hindered by covert agents, members of an organization known as The Company. The Company was responsible for framing Lincoln, and they did so because of Lincoln's father, Aldo Burrows, and his former connections to the company. The brothers, along with six other inmates, Fernando Sucre, Theodore "T-Bag" Bagwell, Benjamin Miles "C-Note" Franklin, David "Tweener" Apolskis, John Abruzzi, and Charles "Haywire" Patoshik, who come to be known as the Fox River Eight, escape in the season finale.

Season 2 - The Bringing Down: The second season begins eight hours after the escape, focusing mainly on the escapees. The fugitives split up and journey to locations across the country with the authorities close behind them as they each pursue their individual goals. Brad Bellick gets fired from the prison where he worked as a guard and chases after the inmates himself for the reward money. Several of the escapees reunite in search of a large cache of money buried long ago by another prisoner. Federal agent Alexander Mahone is assigned to track down and capture the eight fugitives, but is revealed to be working for The Company, which wants all eight men dead. When Sara discovers her dead father, Governor Frank Tancredi, she meets with Michael, remaining with him as the brothers try to bring down the current President, a Company member. To ensure the brothers' safety, Sara allows herself to be arrested and faces trial. During the trial, the testimony of former Secret Service agent Paul Kellerman, who used to work for the Company-controlled President, exonerates Lincoln and Sara. Several of the escapees are killed or recaptured, but the brothers make it to Panama. Michael, T-Bag, Mahone, and Bellick are arrested by the Panamanian authorities and imprisoned at the Penitenciaría Federal de Sona.

Season 3 - Again Breaking OutThe third season follows both Michael inside Sona and Lincoln on the outside in Panama. Sona is a prison that has been run by the inmates and guarded only from the outside since a riot the year before. Burrows is quickly contacted by Gretchen Morgan (a Company operative who was in charge of operations in Panama) who kidnapped his son LJ and Sara Tancredi, the woman Michael loves. He is told that The Company wants Scofield to break James Whistler out of Sona. The season follows Michael and Whistler's trials in formulating an escape plan, as Michael has to deal with extreme tension and as Lincoln deals with the Company's operative Gretchen Morgan. Sucre gets a job at the prison to aid Michael in his escape plan. When Lincoln attempts to rescue Sara and LJ following a clue provided by Sara, Gretchen claims to have beheaded Sara and sends Lincoln a head in a box as a warning. As the season ends, the pair manage to escape along with Mahone, and another inmate McGrady leaving behind several accomplices including T-Bag and Bellick. Sucre's identity is discovered by a prison guard and is thrown into Sona just after the escape. LJ and Sofia (who was captured for a guarantee that Whistler would go with her) are traded for Whistler, and Michael seeks revenge against Gretchen for Sara's death.

Season 4 - The Breaking In: The major storyline for the fourth season concerns a team recruited by Homeland Security agent Don Self to obtain Scylla. Although the team initially believes it to be the Company's "black book", it is later revealed to contain information on an advanced renewable power cell. Over the course of the first half of the season, the team obtain cards to access Scylla, and break into Company headquarters to steal it. In the first half, Sara is discovered to be alive, Bellick is killed, and Self is revealed to be a double agent and is planning to sell Scylla to the highest bidder. Reluctantly, Lincoln decides to join the Company to get it back, while Michael suffers from a hypothalamic hamartoma. He is treated and operated on by the Company. He later learns that his mother, Christina is still alive and was an agent of the Company, who is revealed to acquire Scylla to sell to the highest bidder. Eventually, the series ends in Miami, where Scylla is recovered by Michael and the team, the General and the Company are taken down, and Christina is killed.

In Prison Break: The Final Break, a story is told explaining what happened following the events of the last episode (before the four-year flash-forward) and the strange scar on Sara's shoulder. This story involves the incarceration of Sara in Miami-Dade county penitentiary due to budgetary cutbacks; there are cots installed there acting as the county jail. With the General and T-Bag in the adjacent Men's facility, the General wants Sara dead and offers a $100,000 bounty. Largely echoing season one, Sara is involved in common prison fare before Michael hears of the bounty, and plans are devised for her escape.

The Characters:  the Series was interesting coz of these interesting characters.

Michael Scofield: He is "Pretty" as T-Bag called him; worked as a structural engineer before devoting full-time to his brother's escape. A will-do-anything-for-family attitude. But still can't kill people as easily as others are doing around him. Total heart-throb.. yumm...!!

Sara Tancredi: a doctor by profession at the penitentiary; had been a Morf user; trying to figure out who she is.

Lincoln Burrows: a high school drop out, a convicted felon, hardened coz of the circumstances.

T-Bag: devilish attitude, truly a primal animal character, gruesome, he will find every way to stab in others' back, if its in his favor.

Fernando Sucre: Really Sugar.. typical Puerto Rican lover.

Alexander Mahone: an intellectual match to Scofield. though has a handicap for a drug. becomes an ally to Scofield later.

Some said the first season was the best, maybe because of the intense thrill and the detailed planning that one can see for the escape that Scofield had planned. But I enjoyed the last season most because this one showed the genius of the Scofield as here was an unknown territory and there was no pre-plan in place.

For all the romantics the only sorry part is the ending where Michael dies and there is no happy ending so to say with Sara and the kid on the way.

But then, it's not a show about Romance though Romance still is threaded through it when we speak of Michael & Sara relationship.. but it's about how in between the gun fights and car crashes they still find each other in a way it is still believable and realistic.

But who's judging...??

I care but I don't care.

I want but I don't beg.

I am pure but I am not naive.

I am sure and I don't waive.

I am friendly but I am not mixer.

I am a talker but I am a loner.

I feel bad but I don't complain.

I feel anger but I restrain.

I have a heart but it's not callous.

I am possessive but am not jealous.

I have suffered but I have spirit.

I have rashes but I mend from it.

I am able but I take things slow.

I am attached but I let things go.

I give & give but I don't care less.

I have a mind but it's not a mess.

I think too much but my mind is blank.

I strive hard and reach to the end.

I am modest but I don't mince words.

I am just and I don't follow herds.

I love all and I have no malice.

For knowledge I have a deep chalice.

I like the way words are woven together.

To bring out beautiful meaning altogether.

I dance and it's a roll.

It's my life and it's my soul.

I am responsible but for a few.

For them I will do the due.

I am not Big but I am not Small.

I have nothing but I got it ALL.

What if...??

There won't be any person I guess who at any point in life stood at a point which lead him to two paths*, and both gave some kind of hope, a wish, may be a promise for the changing future - future changing for the better;  followed by a huge Dilemma - What if...?

It's like - a devil's been chasing you (that's the present situation) and you are running away from it, you run with all the strength in you, the devil is picking up speed and closing in on you... you strive for your life, you pray for more strength, you can't fight it as you obviously see that its more powerful than you, you wish for some kind of miracle to happen, you wish either it disappears magically or you become invisible... you enter a chaotic jungle, which is a new ground for you, you don't know where the next turn will lead you to... in so much chase you start losing your breath, your strength, your will & with it - your hope... but there is a belief somewhere in you which still pushes you to carry on... still fight against it... so you focus on the future, forgetting what's behind you... you start looking forward... for any escapes where you can lose the big bad demon and build something new... so with regained spirit you start looking out for more... and there comes a  point where there are two paths for you to take where you can change the situation for the better. Now, in that split second, you gotta decide which one you ought to be on. And in this split second, you can do 2 things to choose the path; one, on the basis of your past experiences or second, go by your gut feeling... and once you are almost 99% sure about the path you need to take on - then comes the question - What IF...??

You can fill in all the What IF questions yourself, but the doubt, the hitch that to take that step ahead remains... there is anxiety which what will happen ahead... you are hanging between hope and fear... and then you say Chuck It.. you relinquish all your fears and take on a path (most likely with your gut...)... and there you find a place where you can camp for a little while and make a base for the future lying ahead...

Well, this is quite an optimistic ending... but i guess thats what generally happens if an honest effort is put in... because sometimes people are not even honest with their own selves and not put in a whole hearted effort to save their own selves from the situations that they are in...

To our Beliefs, Hopes, Strength & Will... Cheers...!!!
